Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, thinly sliced

1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced

8 ounces ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 cup sliced mushrooms

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, sauté for about 3-5 minutes until they begin to soften.

Add the sliced steak and mushrooms to the skillet. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.

Spread the steak and vegetable mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the steak mixture.

Carefully roll the dough over the filling starting from one long edge, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the stromboli.

Place the rolled stromboli seam side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.

Cut a few slits in the top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow to cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.

                        Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 4-6

                          - Presentation Tips: Serve slices of the stromboli on a wooden board, garnished with fresh parsley and a small bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.
