Ingredients

4 medium-sized russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Sour cream (for serving)

Instructions

Begin by washing the russet potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a clean towel.

Use a fork to poke several holes around each potato (this allows steam to escape while cooking).

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Rub this mixture generously over the potatoes, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching each other for even cooking.

Cook the potatoes in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 35-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through for uniform crispiness. They are done when a fork easily pierces through the center.

Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.

Cut a slit down the center of each potato, fluff the insides with a fork, and season additionally with salt and pepper if desired.

Serve the potatoes topped with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chopped chives for added flavor and garnish.
