Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

4 cups diced potatoes (about 4 medium potatoes)

1 can (15 ounces) green beans, drained

1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup milk

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef, cooking until the onion becomes translucent, around 3-4 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, thyme, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Add the beef and onion mixture to the bowl, stirring to incorporate all ingredients evenly.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, ensuring every corner is covered.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned, and the potatoes are tender.

Once cooked, let the casserole cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes | Servings: 6
