12 mozzarella sticks

12 slices of bacon (thick-cut preferred)

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style for extra flavor)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Preparation: Begin by freezing mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes. This will help them hold their shape during the frying process.

    Bacon Wrapping: While the cheese is freezing, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Take each bacon slice and cut it in half. Wrap each mozzarella stick tightly with a piece of bacon, ensuring to cover it entirely. Place the wrapped sticks seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

      Breading Station: Set up a breading station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.

        Coating the Sticks: Once you've wrapped all the mozzarella sticks in bacon, roll each stick in the flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the seasoned breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well coated.
