Ingredients

12 soft dinner rolls

12 slices of ham (preferably honey or black forest)

12 slices of Swiss cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Rolls: Carefully slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Layer the Ham and Cheese: On top of the bottom half of the rolls, layer the slices of ham evenly and then layer the Swiss cheese on top.

Add the Top Half: Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.

Make the Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Brush the Butter Mixture: Pour or brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls, making sure to cover all the tops generously.

Cover and Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to prevent the rolls from browning too quickly. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Uncover and Brown: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. If desired, garnish with fresh chopped parsley before slicing into individual sliders.

Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy these delicious, gooey baked ham and cheese sliders!
