Banana Nutella With Strawberry

2 large ripe bananas, sliced

1/2 cup Nutella

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

4 slices of whole-grain bread or brioche

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon honey (optional)

A pinch of sea salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Begin by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

    While the skillet is heating, spread a generous layer of Nutella on one side of each slice of bread.

      On two of the slices (Nutella side up), layer the banana slices evenly.

        Add the sliced strawberries on top of the bananas, then sprinkle a pinch of sea salt for added flavor.

          Place the other two slices of bread (Nutella side down) on top of the filled slices to create a sandwich.

            Add butter to the skillet and let it melt, coating the pan evenly.

              Carefully place the sandwiches in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

                Once cooked, remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute.

                  Cut each sandwich in half and drizzle with honey, if desired.

                    Serve warm, garnished with fresh mint leaves for a touch of elegance.
