Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

½ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (optional for extra spice)

1 tablespoon lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until well combined to create a creamy Bang Bang sauce.

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, add the cooked fettuccine, along with the reserved pasta water, stirring to combine.

Pour the Bang Bang sauce over the pasta, tossing to coat evenly. Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and mix everything gently.

Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary. Heat through for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve immediately, garnishing with chopped green onions and sesame seeds on top.
