Ingredients

8 oz lo mein noodles

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a medium bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Let it sit for about 15 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until it's browned and cooked to your preference. Remove the beef and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Toss in the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

Add the cooked lo mein noodles and the cooked beef back into the skillet. Pour in the sesame oil and toss everything together. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes to heat everything thoroughly and allow the flavors to combine.

Adjust the seasoning if needed; you can add more soy sauce for extra flavor.

Serve hot on plates, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
