Ingredients

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 tablespoons ground cumin

2 tablespoons ground coriander

1 tablespoon ground paprika

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

3 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

4 large pita breads or flatbreads

1 cup tzatziki sauce

1 cup mixed greens (lettuce, spinach, and arugula)

1 medium tomato, sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

1 cucumber, thinly sliced

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create a marinade. Add the sliced beef and toss until well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for better flavor).

Cook the Beef: Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer, cooking for about 3-5 minutes on each side or until the beef is cooked through and nicely browned. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

Prepare the Sandwich: On each pita or flatbread, spread a generous layer of tzatziki sauce. Add a handful of mixed greens, followed by a portion of the cooked beef.

Add Fresh Veggies: Top the beef with slices of tomato, red onion, and cucumber. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor.

Wrap and Serve: Fold the pita or flatbread over the filling to create a sandwich. You can also cut them in half to serve. For added texture and to heat the sandwiches slightly, you can grill the assembled sandwiches on the skillet for an additional 1-2 minutes on each side.

            Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 1 hr 15 min | Servings: 4

              - Presentation Tips: Serve the sandwiches on a wooden board, cut diagonally in half, and arrange pickle slices or extra tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping. Optionally garnish with additional parsley for a fresh touch!
