Ingredients

4 large croissants, torn into pieces

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

2 cups whole milk

4 large eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Pinch of salt

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the torn croissant pieces and mixed berries. Gently toss to combine, allowing the croissant pieces to soak in any juice released by the berries.

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until fully integrated.

Pour the egg mixture over the croissant and berry mixture, gently pushing down the croissant pieces to ensure they soak up the custard.

Let the mixture rest for about 10 minutes to absorb the liquid.

Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
