Ingredients

8 ounces fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Begin by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.

Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the garlic, and bring to a gentle simmer.

Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add the Italian seasoning and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained fettuccine pasta, tossing everything together to coat the pasta and chicken in the creamy sauce.

Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
