1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough (10 biscuits)

1 cup pizza sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Olive oil for brushing

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Open the package of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about ¼ inch thick with a rolling pin or your hands.

      Place the flattened dough circles on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

        Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce (about 1 teaspoon) onto the center of each biscuit.

          Sprinkle a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese (about 1 tablespoon) over the sauce.

            Top each mini pizza with 2-3 slices of pepperoni.

              In a small bowl, mix the Italian seasoning and garlic powder; sprinkle this mixture evenly over the mini pizzas for added flavor.

                Brush the edges of the biscuit dough with a little olive oil to give them a nice golden color when baked.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

                    Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Remove from the baking sheet.

                      Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired, and serve warm.
