Ingredients

1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 tsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 egg, for egg wash

Extra powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

In another bowl, gently combine the blueberries with lemon juice and ground cinnamon, being careful not to crush the berries.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Take about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture and spread it over the wide end of each triangle, leaving some space at the edges.

Spoon a few blueberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Starting from the wide end, roll up each crescent triangle tightly, making sure to tuck in the sides while rolling to create a pocket for the filling.

After rolling, place each crescent roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush it over the tops of the crescents for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden and puffed.

Once baked, remove the rolls from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Optionally, dust with a little extra powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy your deliciously unique Blueberry Cheesecake Crescent Rolls!
