1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy, your choice)

4 large eggs

2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color you prefer)

1/2 cup diced onion

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary and set aside.

      In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

        Layer the bottom of the prepared baking dish with the thawed hash browns, spreading them evenly across the surface.

          Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the hash browns, then add the diced bell pepper and onion on top.

            Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers, ensuring everything is evenly distributed.

              Top with the shredded cheddar cheese, spreading it out to cover the entire casserole.
