Ingredients

3 cups Rice Chex cereal

3 cups Corn Chex cereal

1 cup mini pretzels

1 cup mixed nuts (salted)

1 cup cheese crackers

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

Salt to taste

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, mini pretzels, mixed nuts, and cheese crackers. Toss them together gently to mix.

In a saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix until fully combined.

Pour the butter and hot sauce mixture over the Chex mix ingredients in the bowl. Toss everything gently but thoroughly to coat all the pieces evenly with the sauce.

Spread the coated mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting.

Once it's golden and crispy, remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Taste and adjust salt if needed.

Store in an airtight container or serve immediately as a spicy snack!
