Ingredients

2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, juiced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cooked jasmine rice (for serving)

Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the salmon fillets and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, ensuring they’re well-coated.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.

Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the skillet skin-side down. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the Shrimp: Place the shrimp in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque.

Combine and Flavor: Squeeze the juice of the lemon over the shrimp and stir in the fresh parsley. Combine the cooked shrimp with the garlic butter sauce.

Plate Up: Serve the salmon fillets on a bed of jasmine rice, top with the garlic butter shrimp, and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top.

Garnish with lemon wedges and additional parsley if desired.
