Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

1 cup whole milk

1/4 cup cake mix (vanilla or funfetti)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles

Whipped cream for topping

Extra sprinkles for garnish

Optional: A slice of cake for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, cake mix, and vanilla extract.

Blend on medium speed until smooth and creamy, making sure there are no lumps from the cake mix.

Add the rainbow sprinkles and pulse a couple of times just to mix them in—this adds a nice color and texture.

Taste the milkshake; if it’s too thick, add a little more milk and blend again until the desired consistency is achieved.

Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.

Top generously with whipped cream and sprinkle extra rainbow sprinkles on top for that festive look.

For an extra touch, you can place a slice of cake on the rim of the glass or serve it on the side.
