Ingredients

2 cans of crescent roll dough

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream

1 cup blueberries or strawberries (fresh or frozen)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Roll out one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a solid base.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.

In a separate bowl, toss the blueberries or strawberries with lemon juice and cinnamon. Spread the fruit evenly over the cream cheese layer.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the fruit layer, again pressing the seams together to cover.

In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top crescent roll layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.

Let the casserole cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
