1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a medium mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

      Open the crescent roll dough package and unroll the dough on a flat surface. You will find the dough is perforated into triangles.

        Take a triangle of dough and place a generous tablespoon of the chicken and cheese mixture at the wide end of the triangle.

          Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling towards the point. Pinch the edges to seal securely.

            Place the rolled crescent on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

              Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.

                Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden brown.

                  Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
