2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 slices of thick garlic bread

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Sliced tomatoes and lettuce for added crunch

Prep the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes for more flavor.

    Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

      Prepare the Garlic Bread: While the chicken is cooking, spread softened butter on one side of each slice of garlic bread. Sprinkle garlic powder evenly on the buttered sides.

        Assemble the Sandwich: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). On the non-buttered side of two slices, place one sliced chicken breast each. Layer the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the chicken. If using, add sliced tomatoes and lettuce for extra crunch. Top off with the remaining slices of garlic bread, buttered side up.
