Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

¾ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.

Make Biscuit Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Buttermilk: Pour in the buttermilk and gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix; it’s okay if there are still some lumps.

Prepare Cheese Filling: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, parsley, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.

Form Bombs: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the biscuit dough into about a ½-inch thick rectangle. Cut the dough into squares (about 3x3 inches). Place a generous spoonful of the cheese filling in the center of each square.

Seal the Biscuit Bombs: Fold the corners of the dough squares over the filling to completely seal it, forming a ball. Pinch the seams to ensure they are tightly closed.

Bake: Place the sealed biscuit bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Cook: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.

Serve: Once out of the oven, let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 35-40 minutes | Servings: 12-15 bombs

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve your Cheesy Garlic Biscuit Bombs on a rustic wooden board, garnished with extra chopped parsley and a small bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.
