Ingredients

8 oz linguine pasta

1 lb ground beef

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Linguine: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Garlic: Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine, allowing the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Cheesy Goodness: Lower the heat and stir in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until you reach the desired consistency.

Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta evenly in the cheesy sauce. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper as needed.

Serve: Plate the cheesy garlic butter linguine and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy your delicious meal!
