Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (or turkey)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 cup milk

1 egg

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup marinara sauce, for dipping

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

Scoop out a tablespoon-sized portion of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a teaspoon of shredded mozzarella in the center and then fold the meat around it, sealing the cheese inside. Roll into a ball and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this until all the mixture is formed into meatloaf bites.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through, and the outside is browned and slightly crispy.

While the meatloaf bites are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.

Once done, remove the meatloaf bites from the oven and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Serve warm with the marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
