Ingredients

2 cups leftover mac and cheese

1 cup crushed Cheetos (plus extra for topping)

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup cream cheese (softened)

1/4 cup milk

1 large egg

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking.

Mix the Mac and Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the leftover mac and cheese with the crushed Cheetos, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

Form the Lava Bombs: Take a handful of the mac and cheese mixture and press it into the greased muffin tin, creating a small cup shape in each cavity. This will be the outer shell of the lava bomb.

Add Fillings: If you want a gooey center, you can add a small dollop of extra cream cheese or more cheese into the center of each mac and cheese cup.

Seal the Bombs: Use more of the mac and cheese mixture to top each cup, sealing it off completely. Ensure the tops are smooth and even.

Add Cheetos Topping: Sprinkle extra crushed Cheetos on top of each bomb for added crunch and flavor.

Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.

Cool and Serve: Once out of the oven, allow the lava bombs to cool for about 5 minutes. Carefully remove them from the muffin tin and serve warm.
