Instructions

For the Chicken and Shrimp over Cajun Pasta:

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Add Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, diced bell peppers, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft, about 4 minutes.

Cook Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Add the chicken back to the skillet and mix well.

Combine Pasta: Gently toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with chopped parsley and set aside.

                For the Honey Garlic Wings:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Prepare Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Marinate the Wings: Place chicken wings in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper. Pour the honey garlic marinade over the wings, tossing to coat them evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight for better flavor).

Bake the Wings: Arrange the marinated wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until wings are crispy, flipping halfway through.

Sauce the Wings: In the last 5-10 minutes of baking, brush the wings with additional marinade, if desired, for extra flavor.

                            For the Texas Toast:

Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.

Prep Toast: Spread the garlic butter evenly on both sides of each slice of Texas toast.

Toast the Bread: In a skillet, toast the bread over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side, or alternatively, place under a broiler for about 2-3 minutes on each side until toasted.

                                    Serving:

                                      - Serve the Cajun Pasta in large bowls topped with the chicken and shrimp, with honey garlic wings on the side. Enjoy the meal with crispy Texas toast!
