Ingredients

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup marinara sauce

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles. Place them on the prepared baking sheet with the wide end facing you.

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.

Fold the sides of the triangle over the filling and then roll it up from the wide end to the point, creating a pillow shape. Gently press the seams to seal.

Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

Bake the chicken pillows in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

While the pillows are baking, warm the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Once the pillows are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Serve warm with marinara sauce drizzled on top and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
