1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1/2 cup diced tomatoes (preferably canned, drained)

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional: fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and taco seasoning until smooth.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the can of chili, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Once the chili is heated, reduce the heat to low and stir in the cream cheese mixture until fully melted and incorporated.

Add the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses gradually, stirring continuously until fully melted and creamy.

Gently fold in the diced tomatoes and sliced green onions. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, then remove from heat.

Serve hot in a bowl, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
