Ingredients

1 large French baguette or Italian bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/4 cup chimichurri sauce (homemade or store-bought)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Salt to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, chimichurri sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.

Slice Bread: Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. If you prefer, you can also slice it into smaller pieces for individual servings.

Spread Mixture: Generously spread the chimichurri garlic butter mixture on both halves of the bread, making sure to cover all the crevices for maximum flavor.

Bake: Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the butter has melted.

Garnish: Once out of the oven, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top for a burst of freshness and color.

Slice and Serve: Allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before slicing it into individual pieces. Serve warm as an appetizer or side dish.
