Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup soft caramel candies, chopped

Flaky sea salt, for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped caramel candies until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each cookie dough ball.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers appear slightly underbaked.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 24 cookies

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the cookies stacked on a charming plate, drizzled with extra melted caramel if desired, and sprinkle a touch more flaky sea salt on top for that extra flair. Enjoy with a glass of milk!
