Ingredients

1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)

3 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons butter, for frying

Maple syrup, for serving

Optional: powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and bubble slightly.

Open the tube of cinnamon rolls, and cut each roll into quarters. Set the pieces aside.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Let excess liquid drip off.

Carefully place the soaked cinnamon roll pieces into the preheated skillet, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Once cooked, remove the bites from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.

Repeat the process with any remaining cinnamon roll pieces, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.

Serve the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites warm, drizzled with maple syrup and sprinkled with powdered sugar if desired.
