Ingredients

1 can of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (8 rolls)

3 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (whole or your preferred dairy)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon sugar

2 tablespoons unsalted butter (for frying)

Maple syrup (for serving)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls: Open the can of cinnamon roll dough and carefully unroll each roll to form a long strip. Pinch the seams together at the edges if necessary to keep them from unrolling.

Make the Egg Mixture: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.

Roll and Stuff: Starting from one end of each unrolled cinnamon roll strip, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon and sugar (if desired) for added flavor. Roll up the strip tightly back into a roll, then set aside.

Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. You can add a little oil to prevent the butter from burning if desired.

Coat and Cook: Once the skillet is hot, dip each cinnamon roll into the egg mixture to coat evenly and place them in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve: Remove the rolls from the skillet and let them cool slightly. Drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm, and enjoy your delightful Cinnamon Roll French Toast Rolls with your favorite coffee or tea!
