Ingredients

1 tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh fruit or nuts for topping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Instead of baking them separately, pinch the seams together to create a large rectangle, or arrange them in a round shape on the baking sheet to form a pizza crust.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the entire dough surface.

In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the dough.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and slightly puffed.

While the crust is baking, prepare the topping: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until smooth and creamy.

Once the crust is finished baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the warm cinnamon-sugar pizza crust.

Add fresh fruit or nuts as desired for added flavor and texture.

Slice into wedges and serve warm or at room temperature!
