Ingredients
  

1 cup fresh lemon juice

4 cups cold water

1/2 cup honey or agave syrup

1/2 teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder (for color change)

1 tablespoon baking soda (for color shift)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice and cold water. Stir well to mix.

    Slowly add the honey or agave syrup, stirring until fully dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.

      In a separate small bowl, mix the butterfly pea flower powder with 2 tablespoons of warm water to create a concentrated color.

        Carefully pour the butterfly pea mixture into the pitcher of lemonade. Stir gently; the drink will turn a vibrant blue.

          To initiate the color change, dissolve the baking soda in 1 tablespoon of water and add it to the lemonade mixture, stirring continuously. Watch as the blue lemonade transitions to a stunning purple hue!

            Chill the color-changing lemonade in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
