Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 lime, juiced

Salt and pepper to taste

Tortilla chips or veggie sticks for serving

Instructions

If using fresh cranberries, rinse and remove any stems. If frozen, let them thaw slightly.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the cranberries and a splash of water (just enough to prevent sticking). Cook until the cranberries burst and soften, about 5-7 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Once the cranberries are cooked, remove the pan from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt. Use a hand mixer or a fork to blend until smooth and creamy.

Add the chopped jalapeño, cooked cranberries (including any juices), green onions, honey, lime juice, salt, and pepper to the cream cheese mixture. Stir until fully combined, and adjust seasoning as desired.

Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve with tortilla chips or fresh veggie sticks for dipping.
