Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

2 cups broccoli florets

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Penne: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Add the broccoli florets during the last 3-4 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, whisking until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked penne and broccoli to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss to coat everything evenly. Stir in the cooked chicken.

Season and Serve: Season the dish with red pepper flakes, if desired, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
