1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set aside.

    While the pasta is cooking, season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.
