Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well-coated.

Spread the Brussels sprouts in an even layer on a baking sheet, cut side down.

Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside, stirring halfway through.

While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the creamy sauce. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.

Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.

Season the sauce with additional salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to taste.

Once the Brussels sprouts are done roasting, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for garnish.
