Ingredients

1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized cubes

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

1/4 cup honey

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Bites:

    - In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. In another bowl, beat the egg and combine it with the milk. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

      - Dredge each salmon cube in the flour mixture, then dip it in the egg mixture, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Ensure each piece is well-coated for maximum crispiness.

        Fry the Salmon:

          - Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon bites in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.

            - Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

              Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:

                - In a small saucepan, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir constantly to prevent burning.

                  Combine and Serve:

                    - Once the salmon bites are cooked, drizzle the honey garlic sauce over them or toss them gently in a bowl with the sauce to coat.

                      - Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
