1.5 pounds baby or small Yukon gold potatoes

3 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh rosemary, chopped (about 1 tablespoon)

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water for about 15-20 minutes, or until fork-tender, but not falling apart. Drain and let them cool slightly.

      Smashed Potatoes: On a clean work surface, slightly press down on each potato with the bottom of a glass or a potato masher until they are flattened but still intact.

        Seasoning: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush or drizzle this mixture generously over each smashed potato.
