Ingredients

2 pounds cocktail sausages (smoky or spicy)

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite)

1/2 cup honey

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until well combined.

Place the cocktail sausages in the crockpot.

Pour the sauce mixture over the sausages, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once cooked, check that the sausages are heated through and the flavors have melded together nicely.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions on top. Enjoy with toothpicks or skewers for easy serving!
