Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.

Cook Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Sauté Shrimp: Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.

Make the Sauce: In a separate saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium-low heat. Stir in half of the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add the sautéed shrimp and mix well.

Prepare the Gratin: Pour the shrimp and creamy mixture into a baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine breadcrumbs, remaining Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, and melted remaining butter. Mix well and sprinkle evenly over the shrimp mixture.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.

Serve: Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
