Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper. Place them on a lined baking sheet.

Drizzle Oil: Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well-coated.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.

Make the Lemon Butter Cream Sauce:

            - While the salmon is baking, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

              - Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute), stirring frequently.

                - Reduce heat to low and add the heavy cream, stirring to combine.

                  - Whisk in the lemon juice, lemon zest, and Dijon mustard, allowing the sauce to simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven, and plate it. Drizzle the lemon butter cream sauce generously over each fillet. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with your choice of side dishes, such as steamed vegetables or rice.
