Ingredients

8 oz spaghetti or linguine

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup mayonnaise

3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1/4 cup scallions, chopped (for garnish)

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Squeeze of lime juice (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Make Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and minced garlic. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook.

Combine and Toss: Once the shrimp are cooked, reduce the heat to low. Add the drained pasta into the skillet and pour the Bang Bang sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with chopped scallions and cilantro, and squeeze fresh lime juice over the top for an extra kick.
