Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Cooked pasta or rice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine.

Sprinkle in the paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is well blended and simmer gently for another 2 minutes to thicken slightly.

Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and creamy. Adjust seasonings as necessary.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve immediately over cooked pasta or rice, and add lemon wedges on the side for a zesty finish.
