4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, thyme, basil)

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried herbs, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.

      In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Once melted, pour the butter into the breadcrumb mixture and stir until all the crumbs are coated.

        Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

          Place the seasoned chicken breasts onto the lined baking sheet. Evenly distribute the breadcrumb mixture over the top of each chicken breast, pressing it down gently to ensure it adheres.

            Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F/75°C) and the crust is golden brown.

              Once done, remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.

                Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
