Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, yellow, and green)

1 cup broccoli florets

3-4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp crushed red pepper (optional for heat)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare Shrimp Marinade: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp, coat well, and let marinate for 15 minutes.

Cook Sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and heated through. Remove and set aside.

Sauté Veggies: In the same skillet, add bell peppers and broccoli. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften but still have a bit of crunch.

Add Shrimp: Push the veggies to the side and pour the marinated shrimp into the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque, stirring frequently.

Combine: Once the shrimp is cooked through, add the cooked sausage back into the skillet and mix everything together. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Cook for an additional minute to heat everything through.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve over warm rice or quinoa.
