Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and melted butter. Stir until well mixed.

Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt into the peanut butter mixture. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.

If desired, fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips for an extra crunchy and chocolatey twist.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared dish, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is set firmly.

Once set, remove the fudge from the dish using the edges of the parchment paper. Cut into squares or rectangles.
