Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pound baby potatoes, halved

2 ears of corn, cut into thirds

1/2 pound smoked sausage, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, quartered

2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning

1 tablespoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Water (enough to cover the ingredients)

Instructions

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the salt, Old Bay seasoning, and minced garlic.

Once boiling, add the halved baby potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

Add the sausage slices and corn pieces to the pot. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Finally, add the shrimp and lemon quarters to the pot. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and opaque.

Drain the contents of the pot in a colander and let it rest for a moment.

Drizzle the olive oil over the shrimp, potatoes, sausage, and corn; toss gently to coat.

Transfer to a serving platter or spread across newspaper for a traditional seafood boil aesthetic.

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately, squeezing extra lemon juice over the top if desired.
