Ingredients

10 wonton wrappers

1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Salt to taste

Optional: Sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping

Instructions

Begin by cutting each wonton wrapper diagonally into two triangles, creating a total of 20 strips.

In a heavy-bottomed pan or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sesame seeds, and salt. Mix well.

Carefully drop a few wonton strips into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 1-2 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy, turning occasionally.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried wonton strips and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Immediately sprinkle the seasoning mix over the hot wonton strips while they’re still warm for maximum flavor. Toss gently to coat evenly.

Repeat the frying process in batches until all wonton strips are cooked.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Serving Suggestions: Serve the crispy wonton strips in a decorative bowl with a small cup of sweet chili sauce or soy sauce for dipping, and garnish with additional sesame seeds for an elegant touch.
