For the Garlic Butter Chicken Bites:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

½ teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of ½ lemon

For the Savory Creamy Parmesan Pasta:

8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Extra Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of the pasta cooking water.

    Prepare the Chicken Bites: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

      Add the Chicken: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried parsley. Cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

        Add Lemon Flavor: Once cooked, lower the heat to medium, and add the lemon zest and juice to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for an additional minute. Then remove the skillet from heat.

          Make the Creamy Sauce: In a separate saucepan, heat the heavy cream over low heat. Add garlic powder, and gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is achieved.

            Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat fully. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

              Serve: Plate the creamy pasta and top with the garlic butter chicken bites. Garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese.
